Here is a close up image of a little girl. More than anything I was looking to create a screencast to explain how I do these text based portraits in Inkscape. It’s a fun technique with some easy key steps that you’ll see in the video below. Enjoy!

Your blog is inspiring. I remember reading that challenge at Smashing Magazine. I also remember thinking, “I should do that.” Although I work on something everyday, most of the work hasn’t been adhering to that goal. But after seeing you at work, I might just try to get the rest of the year in. Good stuff!
